New at the 2015 CES: Personal Privacy and Cyber Security Marketplaces

Hyprkey, iWallet, Private Internet Access, Silent Pocket and Others Showcase New Security Innovations at CES Tech East

London and Arlington, Va., October 21, 2014 – The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)® today announced the launch of the Personal Privacy and Cyber Security Marketplaces at the 2015 International CES®. Owned and produced by CEA, the 2015 CES, the global gathering place for all who thrive on the business of consumer technologies, will run January 6-9, 2015, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Personal Privacy Marketplace will focus on personal cyber security products and solutions that offer consumers peace of mind in today’s technology-driven world. From smart wallets and safe payment apps to secure messaging and private internet access, companies in this area will showcase technologies that protect consumers.
The Cyber Security Marketplace, presented by the Gold Identity Federation, will be a destination for attendees to learn about the newest technologies and strategies they can adopt to protect their information online. The area will provide information on how service providers are joining together to replace the ineffective username/password system as well as how users are accessing private accounts with a simple PIN, sharing encrypted files in the cloud, blocking lost devices and more. The Gold Identity Federation will officially launch at the 2015 CES and any service provider can join to utilize this authentication service and any mobile device user can sign up for their own free, secure identity.
“As we all embrace the convenience and “always connected” powerful capabilities of our electronics devices, our privacy and security take on even more importance,” said Karen Chupka, senior vice president, International CES and corporate business strategy, CEA. “We developed the Personal Privacy and Cyber Security Marketplaces to highlight companies and organizations who are developing advanced solutions to stop identity theft, fraud and other cybercrimes. We are excited to experience these new innovations designed to protect our personal information.”
Major exhibitors located within the Personal Privacy Marketplace include: Vysk, Hyprkey, iWallet, Private Internet Access and Silent Pocket. Both the Personal Privacy and Cyber Security Marketplaces will be located in CES Tech East, in the South Hall (S1). CES Tech East will encompass the Las Vegas Convention and World Trade Center (LVCC), Westgate Las Vegas and Renaissance Las Vegas. Tech East includes a registration area, marketplaces, conferences, exhibits, press rooms, meeting rooms and select keynote addresses.
