WHO:
KCET, the nation’s largest independent public television station, presents new episode of its original Southern California music series ARTBOUND PRESENTS: STUDIO A. Artbound Presents: Studio A spotlights Southern California’s top musical talent by showcasing an uninterrupted musical set, as well as the cultural stories from which artists draw their inspiration, including historical and geographical influences.
WHAT:
This week’s episode of ARTBOUND PRESENTS: STUDIO A will feature MOSES SUMNEY performing his signature soulful folk. Pairing deft guitar with his lithe falsetto, Moses Sumney’s soul-funk hybrid sound and live looping brings a truly unique experience to the Studio A audience.
Sumney grew up splitting time between Southern California and Ghana. He recently broke into the Los Angeles music scene with his solo performances, which feature a vibrant choir of his looped vocals.

Tuesday, Oct. 28 & Friday, Oct. 31 at 10 p.m. PT on KCET
Public radio music station, KCSN-FM, which broadcasts from the campus of California State University, Northridge, will also simulcast the series Friday nights at 10 p.m. PT
