Some music videos are so nice, you’ll watch ’em twice. Well, how about four times? That’s right, just when you thought you got it out of your head, Nerdist is about to blow your minds with a new 4-cut of “Weird Al’s” mega-hit, Tacky, to get you pumped for his highly anticipated Mandatory World Tour. With the video shot as a one-take, everyone was signed on to be there all day, but with talent like Aisha Tyler, Jack Black, Eric Stonestreet, Margaret Cho, and Kristen Schaal, they knocked it out in only six takes. Nerdist had the pleasure of producing and releasing Tacky, directed by Weird Al, to kick off his epic #8videos8days blitz and now they’re kicking it up a notch with this epic four-peat! Spoiler alert: three of the cuts have mistakes in them – let us know when you find them using #Tacky!
In case you missed it, “Weird Al” sat down with Nerdist’s Matt Grosinger to announce The Mandatory World Tour last week and to keep the Fun going, he will be hosting Nerdist News this Friday, January 30…hmm, I wonder what news he’ll have for us then!
