The Emmy-nominated AOL original series “Park Bench with Steve Buscemi” will return for its second season today, June 18th. Created by and starring Steve Buscemi, “Park Bench” features Steve and his famous friends sitting down to discuss the special people, places, and spirit that embody to the true essence of New York City. This season will host a new group of friends, which include musician Elvis Costello, comedian John Oliver, actress Amber Tamblyn, actress Zosia Mamet, actor Paul Sparks, comedian Gilbert Gottfried, and filmmaker Jim Jarmusch among many others.
“Park Bench” returns with Steve Buscemi receiving the call from AOL informing him that the show has been picked up for a second season. After a short celebration, comedian Robert Smigel as Triumph the Insult Comic Dog begins insulting Buscemi ‘s show and offers to teach him how to be a proper host. The group quickly relocates from the Palace Café back to the benches of New York where Triumph’s lesson contains more quick witted insults rather than advice.
