on Friday, July 31st, Pivot wraps up its second season an all-new episode of Hit Record on TV With Joseph Gordon-Levitt, the groundbreaking, Emmy Award-winning variety show that each week addresses a theme, around which thousands of writers, musicians, celebrities, illustrators and animators from all over the world work together to create short films, songs, music videos, animation and more.
The sophomore season finale, “RE: The Future,” is all about looking forward. We start our episode regarding The Future in 1900 with an animated musical number about our fixation on what’s coming next. Joseph Gordon-Levitt then asks us to imagine how future technology might affect the way we live, and musicians from all over the world – including Wilco’s Nels Cline — bring the season to a close with a song about hope for the future.
