Author Piper Kerman sits down with Steve to discuss the justice system in the United States as well as cast members from the Emmy nominated show “Orange is the New Black.”

This week’s episode of “Park Bench” opens with Steve Buscemi finishing Piper Kerman’s memoir “Orange is the New Black: My Year in a Women’s Prison” and joking about how she wrote a novelization of the hit show. They discuss Piper’s experiences in the prison as well as how she has become involved in organizations such as Just Leadership USA working alongside founder Glenn E. Martin on their advisory board.  When their interview is abruptly disrupted by Geo who is flying a drone to get aerial shots of cast members of “Orange is the New Black” on Bench Talk, Steve decides to combine the interviews for a comprehensive discussion about the hit series.
