West Virginia Public Broadcasting Website Features First-Listen of “Dumas Walker”
CHARLESTON, W. Va. (October 17, 2015) – Tune in Saturday, October 17 to NPR’s internationally-distributed weekly live performance program, “Mountain Stage with Larry Groce,” to hear legendary music group, The Kentucky Headhunters, perform stand-out tracks from their new album, Meet Me In Bluesland, along with other fan-favorite classics like “Dumas Walker.” Get a sneak-peek first listen of the band’s performance of “Dumas Walker” on West Virginia Public Broadcasting’s website. “Mountain Stage” will replay the program featuring The Kentucky Headhunters through October 23.

The GRAMMY, CMA, ACM and AMA winning bluesy southern rockers celebrated a No. 3 debut on the Billboard Blues Albums Chart with Meet Me In Bluesland, released by Alligator Records, along with top placement on the Billboard Americana Chart. Recorded in 2003, Bluesland features Rock ‘N Roll Hall of Fame member and keyboardist Johnnie Johnson, well-known for his work with Chuck Berry and others.
