Miss America 2016 Betty Cantrell will continue her year of service with a stop at The University of Mississippi for the Ole Miss football game on Saturday, November 7th. Prior to the game, Betty will perform God Bless America as the Ole Miss Rebels get ready to take on the Arkansas Razorbacks. The game will air at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
On Monday, November 9th, Betty travels to Nashville to host Hearts Unsung: featuring Lady Antebellum. The concert is a NASH benefit for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and will take place in Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center. During the concert, Betty will take a break from her hosting duties and treat the audience to a performance, showcasing her remarkable singing voice.
As Miss America, Betty serves as the National Goodwill Ambassador for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and travels the nation visiting patients and staff, fundraising, and increasing awareness. The proceeds from the Hearts Unsung benefit concert will fund the critical treatments, healthcare services, and charitable care provided by CMN Hospitals.
