Company Seeks to Raise $150,000 to Support Time-Lapse Solution
Grenoble, France. December 15, 2015 – To support the funding of TIKEE, their dynamic, time-lapse photography system, innovative French startup Enlaps launched their fundraising Kickstarter campaign on Thursday, December 10. The initiative, which will continue through mid-January, will peak in conjunction with the world premiere unveiling of TIKEE at CES, January 6-9 in Las Vegas.
A 2015 nominee for the prestigious CES Innovation Award for Digital Imaging, Enlaps introduces a unique, complete, plug-and-play time-lapse solution for professional and novice photographers alike. Today, the three main obstacles photographers face when shooting long periodic events are battery, storage and processing. Through TIKEE, Enlaps effectively removes all three constraints through as noted below:
- Energy is provided by an integrated adjustable photovoltaïc solar cell providing infinite battery energy, leading to long-term time-lapse capability.
- Once captured, photos are wirelessly transmitted to the cloud and are not limited by a memory card.
- Time lapses are automatically processed and can be directly edited or shared with professional quality results.
“Capturing the CES Innovation Award for Digital Imaging is a major first step for our company and our product,” says Enlaps President Antoine Auberton. “Not only does that award suggest a level of prestige but it also provides a sort of third-party validation that says, we have a truly creative and innovative product offering.”
According to Auberton, Enlaps has launched its crowdfunding campaign with a targeted funding goal of $150,000. Expected to hit the U.S. and European markets in September 2016, the public retail price is estimated at 600€; but large discounts and early product delivery will be available for those who support Enlaps’ funding program.
