Esteemed “Serial One Corvettes” shine atop Race Ramps at Barrett-Jackson Auto Auctions.
ESCANABA, MI – Jan. 11, 2016 – Race Ramps, manufactured by Brute Technologies, becomes a corporate sponsor of Barrett-Jackson, The World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions®, and has seen their Portable Pit Stop ramps and Banked Track Display Ramp elevate “The Serial One Corvettes” collection from this year’s auctions held in Reno and Las Vegas, Nevada. A significant piece of automotive history, the three Corvettes – 1955, 1956, and 1957 – will have Corvette enthusiasts bursting with excitement when it crosses the auction block at 45th Annual Barrett-Jackson Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, Jan. 23-31, 2016.
With all three Corvettes being VIN #001, the trio has certainly created buzz with each completed Barrett-Jackson auction drawing nearer to the Scottsdale event. Entrusting these vehicles to be displayed on Race Ramps, Barrett-Jackson Showroom Manager Jeff Catlin has long been enthusiastic about the entire line of products.
“I’ve used Race Ramps for a few years now and it started with using the Portable Pit Stop to perform tech inspections on vehicles,” said Catlin. “The easy roll-up onto the Portable Pit Stop ramps was convenient and ultimately a safe way to handle rare collector cars – especially those that are low to the ground.”
Starting this year, Catlin began using Race Ramps’ new Banked Track Display Ramp which gives a dramatic and eye-catching “vehicle in motion” display as it sits on a 10-degree angle. The buzz of “The Serial One Corvettes” was highlighted by a full Race Ramps display set-up which complemented the esteemed vehicles.
“Race Ramps give that stunning, dramatic display that stops people in their tracks. The Banked Track Display Ramp especially catches people by surprise as it pitches the vehicles on an angle. It’s not something that you see every day and it undoubtedly draws people,” said Catlin.
As the manager and coordinator of all auction vehicle logistics, Catlin appreciates the ease of assembling and disassembling Race Ramps along with the ease of transporting and storing the ramps. “The ramps are strong and durable, but they are also super lightweight which makes it convenient when setting up in cities across the country,” said Catlin.
Race Ramps continues to develop more products aimed at providing a solution for low-clearance vehicles in all capacities from displays to service and maintenance, trailer loading and unloading to storage. “We provide a safe solution for vehicles – especially those that are low-clearance. It’s great to see prominent organizations like Barrett-Jackson entrust the quality of our ramps for use with their collector cars,” said Brute Technologies President Rich Heinz.
