MISS AMERICA 2016 BETTY CANTRELL ATTENDS DISNEY PRINCESS HALF MARATHON WEEKEND PRESENTED BY CHILDREN’S MIRACLE NETWORK HOSPITALS

Miss America 2016 Betty Cantrell joined women and girls of all ages in Orlando, FL, for the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend  presented by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. As the National Goodwill Ambassador for CMN Hospitals, Betty attended the VIP reception in Epcot on Thursday, February 18th, where she had the opportunity to meet with sponsors and special guests. The weekend’s events included the Disney Fit for a Princess Expo, the Disney Enchanted 10K, and the Disney Princess Half Marathon.

Early Saturday morning, Betty spoke briefly to welcome runners and supporters who traveled from around the country to participate in these exciting events in support of CMN Hospitals. Betty held the finish line ribbon for both the 10K and half marathon, sang the National Anthem before Sunday’s race, and presented awards to the top runners at the award ceremony. These annual events in support of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals proved to be another success!

The excitement will continue this week with the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals Momentum events in Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort beginning tomorrow, Wednesday, February 24th. Miss America 2016 Betty Cantrell will join CMN Hospitals Champions and their families who come from around the country to celebrate with some of the nation’s biggest fundraisers and supporters of CMN Hospitals.
