Corvette Fans? Join Ray Evernham for the AmeriCarna Season Premiere and a Trip to the Corvette Sinkhole

Ray Evernham kicks off his third season of AmeriCarna with a visit to the Corvette Sinkhole.  He was there to survey the damage when a massive sinkhole opened underneath the National Corvette Museum in Kentucky. Eight amazing cars were swallowed up including the 1,000,000th Corvette. GM gave AmeriCarna exclusive access to the 1,000,000th Corvette restoration.

Corvette Sinkhole – March 3

A massive sinkhole opened underneath the National Corvette Museum in Kentucky. Eight amazing cars were swallowed up; including the 1,000,000th Corvette. GM gave Americana exclusive access to the 1,000,000th Corvette restoration.

Roar at the Shore – March 10

On the New Jersey Shore, an iconic vintage race, The Race of Gentleman, occurs on the beach in Wildwood: period cars, period dress, pure authenticity. Ray puts a car in the race and includes a very special driver.

Fast Cars and Music Stars – March 17

From Indy to Nashville; Ray and the Borchetta Brothers of Big Machine Records and Racing find they have a lot in common.  This celebrity-filled episode features musicians Tim McGraw, Cassadee Pope and Indy racer Josef Newgarden.

Dragster Diplomacy – March 24

In 1964 the US sent a star-studded race team to England to educate them on drag racing. On that team was Bob Keith and his Dos Palmas car. After being lost for over 40 years, the restoration of the car takes an emotional turn with the loss of a friend.

Smokin’ Joe’s GTX – March 31

Blues legend Joe Bonammassa is looking for a special gift for his parents. And with his love of cars and guitars there is no better place to look than to Ray and Mr. H. From Mopar muscle to new music from Joe, this episode has a lot of Drive.

Board Track Battles – April 7

In the early 1900s a phenomenon occurred as race tracks built of boards sprang up across the country to crowds of 50,000 and more. The racers were death-defying daredevils. Ray and X Games veteran Travis Pastrana break down the Battle on the Boards.

Model T Takes Flight – April 14

Ray finds an old t-bucket with record-breaking past at Bonneville. His goal is to put the roadster back together and to match or better the record. As Ray finds out at the Joint Command Base in Lakehurst New Jersey, to make time you need time.

Dan Gurney – The Eagle Soars – April 21

Ray finds a Gurney Eagle in a garage in New York.  He wants to put the coveted machine back on the track at Indy to honor Dan. After intense restoration and scouring the globe for a Gurney-Westlake engine, the Eagle soars again.
