Clark Celebrates HEE HAW’s legacy with 3-Disc Collection Available Now
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 30, 2016) – The incomparable Roy Clark will sit down with Tennessee Radio Hall of Fame DJ Keith Bilbrey during this week’s “Reflections” to chat about his remarkable career as a musician, stage performer and television entertainer. Clark is also celebrating HEE HAW’s legacy with a 3-disc collection (available here).
The Country Music Hall of Fame member opens up about his upbringing in Virginia that led him to headlining some of the world’s most prestigious venues, winning the Academy of Country Music’s Entertainer of the Year and becoming a household name as the co-host of HEE HAW.
“For decades, Roy has been a tremendous ambassador for country music. He’s entertained audiences worldwide. I’m honored he shared some of his life’s stories with us,” Jeff Moseley said, “Reflections” Executive Producer/CJM Productions.
“Reflections” airs on The Heartland Network Thursdays 8/7c (6 p.m. CST on WSMV 4.2 in Nashville) and Saturdays 4/3c. Click here to find your local channel. The HEE HAW Collection, a three-DVD set of highlights from the series, was recently released by Time Life. In addition to Clark and longtime co-host Buck Owens, it also features performances by Merle Haggard, Conway Twitty, Tammy Wynette and many others.

Roy Clark is one of the top entertainers ever in country music, and he has the CMA and ACM awards to prove it. Despite all of the well-deserved accolades for the Country Music Hall of Fame member, Clark remains a household name after two decades of spreading the gospel of country music from Kornfield Kounty into the living rooms of America. Clark co-hosted HEE HAW for more than two decades after it premiered on June 15, 1969. HEE HAW became one of the longest-running shows in syndication (1971–1992). In addition to his television triumphs, Clark has headlined some of the world’s most prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, Grand Palace in Brussels and the Rossiya Theatre in Moscow. A partial list of his many awards include the Academy of Country Music’s Entertainer of the Year, Academy of Country Music’s Comedy Act of the Year and a Grammy for “Alabama Jubilee.” Clark became a Grand Ole Opry member in 1987. He was also the first country music artist to guest host Johnny Carson’s “Tonight Show.” Clark and wife Barbara live in Oklahoma where he finds time to fish, fly his airplanes and ride motorcycles.
