largest North American Tour in 25 Years Kicks Off June 3
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 20, 2016) – Tickets are selling fast for Dolly Parton’s ‘Pure & Simple Tour,’ her largest North American tour in more than 25 years. Many shows have limited tickets available and additional dates have been added through November. CLICK HERE to purchase tickets and VIP packages.
“Wow, I’m flattered folks want to check out my big ticket tour! I’m so honored the fans are spending their hard-earned money just to come see our show. It sure means a lot and I can’t wait to get out there on the road and see them too,” Parton said.
Parton’s set list will include the hits her fans love along with a few new songs from her forthcoming Pure & Simple album set for release this summer. She will also be playing songs that have not been heard live for decades.
The iconic performer, entrepreneur and entertainment mogul will not only be touring the country, but she’s also executive producing “Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love.” Coming off the phenomenal performance of last year’s holiday special and looking to recapture the enthusiasm of the nearly 16 million viewers who tuned in, Parton is teaming up with Pamela K. Long and Sam Haskell as executive producers on the NBC film. The original cast will return for the sequel: Jennifer Nettles as Avie Lee Parton, Ricky Schroder as Robert Lee Parton, Gerald McRaney as Rev. Jake Owens and Alyvia Alyn Lind as young Dolly Parton.
Until then, fans will have a chance to hear Parton’s stories behind her hits like “Coat of Many Colors” during her ‘Pure & Simple Tour.’
