Charity Concert Series Will Feature Major Artists Just Minutes from Convention Venue
CLEVELAND, Ohio. (July 8, 2016) – Concerts for a Cause and Cleveland Rocks 2016 are joining forces in partnership with The Townsend Group, Shamrock Consulting, Rose Strategies and Blue Star Productions, LLC to host a series of private concerts benefiting charity. Concerts will feature major national acts including Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Band Perry, Super Diamond, Rick Springfield, Pat Green, Lee Brice and Kid Rock during the Republican National Convention in Cleveland the beginning July 17 located at Jacobs Pavilion at Nautica at 2014 Sycamore St.
“We are excited at the opportunity to bring top musical talent to Cleveland during the RNC Convention while at the same time raising money for charities that deserve our assistance,” the organizers said. “It’s a very exciting time to be a Republican, and this is where politics, policy and entertainment collide.”
The concert series lineup will include the following:
Sunday, July 17 – Cleveland Rocks 2016 presents Lynyrd Skynyrd
Monday, July 18 – Concerts for a Cause presents Late Night at the Pavilion honoring the House Republican Leadership, the House Republican Conference and the Wisconsin Delegates and national state-level Republican leadership featuring country music stars The Band Perry
Tuesday, July 19 – Concerts for a Cause presents Beads & BBQ – A tribute to the House Republican Whip Team with Super Diamond – The Neil Diamond Tribute band and featuring pop-music legend Rick Springfield
Wednesday, July 20 – Concerts for a Cause presents A Salute to the Innovation Economy with an all-star country music night with starting with the Texas legend, Pat Green and featuring South Carolina native, Lee Brice
Thursday, July 21 – Cleveland Rocks 2016 presents music Legend Kid Rock
Cleveland Rocks 2016 will present various other events throughout the week at separate locations including country artist Chris Janson, a Gospel Brunch featuring Robert Randolph with soul legend Sam Moore and the Ohio Gospel Players and more.
Concerts for a Cause
Concerts for a Cause was created in 2007 and has held an annual marquee event, the Concert for Epilepsy, which was founded by Chad Barth in honor of his sister who was only six months old when her epileptic seizures began. The concerts have honored her passion for music and raised financial support for the important work of improving the lives of those with epilepsy. Concerts for a Cause is now expanding its horizons with the hope of helping more Americans in need of assistance.

The event is produced by Blue Star Productions, LLC and organized by Legacy of Valor Endowment in conjunction with the Green Beret Foundation, The Folded Flag Foundation, The Guardians of Heroes Foundation, OH Fallen Heroes, and SRT-K9 Unit, with those charities receiving proceeds from the event.
Cleveland Rocks 2016 events are private, invitation-only and are not connected with or sanctioned by any political party or its affiliated committees, nor authorized by any candidate or federal candidate’s committee. Tickets for the events will be made available only to paid sponsors and invited guests. Monies paid by sponsors will not be used to influence any political party or candidate committees. These events are designed to comply with the Rules of the U.S. Senate and House.
