Atlantic City, NJ (September 5, 2016) – The Miss America Foundation, Inc., announced today Katie Harman Ebner as the inaugural recipient of its new Former Miss America Discretionary Scholarship. The scholarship was established to empower Former Miss America’s to continue their education after their ten-year scholarship window expires. As the inaugural recipient, Miss America 2002 Katie Harman Ebner, will receive up to $10,000 in scholarship assistance to continue her studies at Southern Oregon University’s renowned Oregon Center for the Arts.
