The four Gears Major tournaments will use the newly-released Astro TR Main Stage audio system that will block out the noise to help the players focusing on the game. The partnership will also see Astro Gaming launching its own league alongside Gears 5 official Majors. Powered by Beyond Entertainment, it will feature a $20,000 prize pool.
Cole Lovelady, Head of Global Esports at Astro Gaming added: “We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with Microsoft, The Coalition and Gears of War. By offering the community a premium audio experience and creating exciting new ways to earn cash, aspiring athletes will be able to find new teammates and have a chance to make a career in Gears Esports.”
