ELEAGUE’s first tournament will take place at the ELEAGUE Arena in Atlanta on January 17th-19th, while the other two will take place in Europe later in the year.

Jennifer Dill, Vice President of Esports at Turner Sports discussed the deal in a release: “This expanded partnership builds on the successful relationship we’ve established with Electronic Arts and represents even more opportunities to provide fans with compelling live moments and culturally relevant esports content.

“In addition to the role ELEAGUE will play in the growth of EA SPORTS FIFA 20 as a top-tier esport and viewing experience, we are looking forward to leveraging the full breadth of Turner Sports’ platforms and sports programming to drive additional excitement surrounding the EA SPORTS FIFA 20 Global Series.”

This is not the first instance of ELEAGUE and EA Sports collaborating. In February, ELEAGUE hosted the FUT Champions Cup. Following the event, a documentary series that highlighted the best moments from the tournament was produced by ELEAGUE.

ELEAGUE will televise highlights from the FIFA 20 Global Series through new episodes, beginning in January. Viewers will have the ability to access complete coverage of the entire tournament circuit, including key matches and player interviews – all of which will be broadcast TBS.

Esports Insider says: Partnering with ELEAGUE is a safe bet for EA Sports after the polished production of the tournament that took place earlier this year.
