Berlin-based organisation G2 Esports has expanded its strategic partnership with GIGABYTE‘s gaming brand AORUS.
The deal will expand upon the co-branded Z390 Master motherboard that was released last November.

2020 will mark the third year of the alliance between G2 Esports and AORUS, though it will also be the most collaborative period yet for the two parties. The organisation will assume input in the development phase of AORUS’ products moving forward.
Together, they’re expected to release more co-branded products as the year goes on. AORUS currently manufactures motherboards, graphic cards, laptops, monitors, computer components, and peripherals. It’s not clear what co-branded products will be produced with G2 Esports at the time of writing.

Eric Tsai, Account Manager at GIGABYTE commented on the expansion in a release: “With the precedent set by the Z390 AORUS MASTER G2 Edition motherboard, we are ecstatic to announce this is just the first stepping stone of AORUS’ Esports integration plan. In the coming year of 2020 we are thrilled to have a product schedule lined up that includes many releases in collaboration with G2 Esports.”
In December, G2 Esports extended its partnership with gaming monitor manufacturer AOC to last through 2020. It’s also in deals with Logitech G, Red Bull, Mastercard, paysafecard, nicecactus.gg, Twitch, and Hdac Technology.
Esports Insider says: It’s good to see G2 Esports retaining a number of its partnerships, especially expanding upon them in significant ways such as this. Having co-branded products is also a big step for AORUS, especially as G2 Esports has now cemented itself as a force to be reckoned globally within League of Legends.
