Through this initiative, the pair will seek to develop the esports ecosystem in the greater Lyonnaise region with an emphasis on youth, associations, companies, and communities to attract both native and international talent.
LDLC OL – which fields teams in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, FIFA, Forrnite, League of Legends, and World Rally Championship – is said to benefit from the dynamic brought by the development of a 16,000-person arena near the Groupama Stadium, which will host “major international esports competitions.”
Esports Insider: This is a partnership of epic proportions between two herculean-sized companies in French quarters. It’s still early in 2020, but the partnership at hand will likely be one of the biggest seen this year based off the scale of these two groups.
