Vodafone Giants enters partnership with Nike
Spanish organisation Vodafone Giants was the first European esports brand to become a global partner of sports apparel giant Nike.
To kick off the partnership, Nike released a co-branded apparel collection with the organisation on January 20th.

German organisation SK Gaming also partnered with sportswear giant Nike and online retail store 11teamsports.

Riot Games taps HUYA as Chinese broadcast partner for LCS and LEC
Riot Games appointed HUYA as the Chinese broadcast partner for its North American league LCS and European league LEC.
The Chinese live streaming platform is already the exclusive broadcast distribution partner in China for Korean league LCK.

MTG share price falls following collapse of HUYA negotiations
Modern Times Group (MTG), the parent company of ESL and DreamHack, cancelled its term sheet with HUYA.
Announced in September last year, the Chinese live streaming platform was to acquire a minority interest in, and form a joint venture with, ESL.

FlyQuest announces Tricia Sugita as CEO and unveils headquarters
North American organisation FlyQuest promoted Tricia Sugita to become its new CEO and announced its new facility, The Greenhouse.
The organisation also unveiled its initiative to “Go Green” for 2020 throughout its activations, jersey design, and marketing campaigns.

North American organisation 100 Thieves opened its headquarters and training facility, the 100 Thieves Cash App Compound.
The 15,000 square foot facility is located in Los Angeles and has areas for training, streaming, content production, fashion design, and retail.
