ESL and DHL deliver partnership extension for 2020

Tournament organiser ESL extended its partnership with logistics company DHL to cover ESL One events in 2020.

DHL will continue to serve as a sponsor and logistics partner of ESL One tournaments for the year, as well as remaining as a partner of ESL’s grassroots Academy initiative for Dota 2 players.

CORSAIR completes purchase of Scuf Gaming

Computer hardware company CORSAIR completed its purchase of custom controller company SCUF Gaming.

CORSAIR agreed to acquire the controller manufacturer and its patent portfolio in December 2019 and marks the third acquisition by the company since EagleTree Capital secured a majority share back in 2017.

Team Envy buys into FLASHPOINT league

North American organisation Envy Gaming bought into FLASHPOINT, the upcoming Counter-Strike: Global Offensive league operated by FACEIT.

Team Envy will be the seventh founding team of the league, with a buy-in cost of $2 million (GBP1.55 million), joining Immortals Gaming Club (owner of MIBR), OverActive Media (owner of MAD Lions), Cloud9, Gen.G, Dignitas, and c0ntact Gaming.

Team Reciprocity enters letter of intent with Rainy Hollow Ventures

North American organisation Team Reciprocity entered into a letter of intent with Rainy Hollow Ventures.

Dated February 26th, the letter of intent will see Rainy Hollow Ventures acquire all issued and outstanding securities of Team Reciprocity, resulting in a reverse takeover. The organisation is looking to become publicly listed.
