Demise is currently in the process of acquiring sponsors and partners ahead of the start of the new season of competitions; Kappa is one of the first commercial partners the organisation has secured.

Andy Manitara, Founder and Co-owner of Demise, spoke on the partnership in a release: “Kappa have taken a huge step in supporting the UK esports scene and we’re very excited for them to be our official kit supplier. To be working with such a major sports brand is testament to how far Demise has come and we’re just getting started.”

This is the second three-year deal that Kappa has signed with a British organisation in esports. In April, Diabolus entered a deal with the sportswear brand. It also holds agreements with Vexed Gaming, Royal Never Give Up, and MAD Lions.

Dave Bandell, Sales Manager for Kappa UK, added: “We are delighted to become the apparel partner for Demise. Having met the guys it was clear they share the same ambitions as us in the esport arena and we welcome them to our growing stable of teams. We look forward to a successful partnership.”

Esports Insider says: Kappa has clearly been growing its presence in esports in recent months, though it appears to have an emphasis on the UK scene. This is a great vote of confidence for the nation’s esports efforts and we hope that Kappa finds success in this industry through Demise and its other partners!
