Simulation racing event organiser World Pro Racing (WPR) has announced HyperX as its exclusive hardware partner.
The deal will see World Pro Racing use HyperX peripherals for its sim racing facility, administration offices, and broadcasting rooms.

Regarded as one of the top sim racing event organisers, WPR has provided its broadcasts to over 200 million homes across Europe and the United States through partnerships with Motorsport.tv and sports branch of Maltese television network, TVM Sports.
Justin Mifsud, Founder & CTO of World Pro Racing, spoke on the partnership in a release: “We are happy to partner with HyperX as our exclusive peripheral partner. Having such high quality products puts our mind at rest and makes our sim racing facility more professional especially with the headsets which will be used by our clients using the simulators to feel a complete racing immersion.
“Like any other esport, sim racing needs a lot of attention and focusing and audio plays an important role. The Cloud Alpha headsets will be used on all PC simulators and the Cloud Flight for the PS4 simulators including keyboards and mice.”

HyperX and World Pro Racing will collaborate through various activations, ranging from product giveaways to event collaborations involving the sim racing community. In June, HyperX established a similar partnership with Esports Stadium Arlington, providing the venue with its peripherals.
Esports Insider says: Logitech G appears to be the most involved with sim racing on the peripherals front, so we see this as HyperX starting to fight back and stake its claim in a sector that has seen massive growth due to COVID-19.
