German organisation PENTA has entered an exclusive partnership with German-American venture NATION-E Innovation, specifically around its disinfecting product THAT’S IT.
PENTA will use hygienic products, including THAT’S IT, in its new performance centre in Berlin Charlottenburg to prevent the spread of viruses. The partnership marks NATION-E’s first foray into esports.

Andreas Schaetzke, Managing Director of PENTA, shared his thoughts in a release: “[THAT’S IT] is highly innovative and will permanently raise the bar in terms of hygiene standards in electronic sports. We are delighted to take the next steps in cooperation with such a strong partner. Particularly the first project is a matter very close to my heart: The coating of our new esports performance centre in Berlin Charlottenburg, which we will present in the upcoming weeks.”
Additional NATION-E products will be integrated into PENTA’s facility in Berlin-Charlottenburg, establishing a “new standard in terms of hygiene and health in esports.”
Developed by human toxicologist Professor Luthe, THAT’S IT is a wipe that applies a clear coating to surfaces, disinfecting and sealing them for at least one year. The coating helps prevent germs and viruses from adhering to the surface and also makes clean-up (bathroom graffiti, for example), much easier.

Daniel Jammer, Chairman of the Board at NATION-E Innovation, added: “PENTA is a brand with a longstanding history and tradition. During the whole process, we quickly realized that we share the same vision and have the same expectations from a potential collaboration. With our new partner PENTA, we will finally enter the esports and gaming world and address a young target group with a high affinity to technology and innovative products.”
Esports Insider says: This partnership is important for several reasons. If THAT’S IT lives up to its claims, the product could revolutionise how businesses protect customers against COVID-19. Local economies rely on businesses reopening sooner rather than later, and it would be incredible if esports opened the door to making this possible.
