John Yao, CEO of Team Secret, commented in a release: “Online oddsmakers are a tricky sponsor landscape to navigate, and finding a trusted partner is always difficult. We are extremely pleased to add Jing Ji Bao as our Asia gaming sponsor, and are honoured by their support of our world class DOTA2 team. By joining forces, we will bring a new level of experience to all of our fans.”
Esports Insider Says: This appears to be a solid deal for both parties, with Jing Ji Bao investing in a team that is experienced continued success. Betting sponsors are viewed differently depending on the game they’re focusing on, as noted by Yao in his statement, so this is interesting.
