In April, Vexed Gaming expanded and extended its deal with XPG which comprised of the organisation becoming the exclusive supplier of memory and storage solutions of the brand. At the time, it was stated that the parties would be attending events together once offline events return.

With this extension, Vexed Gaming has a total of four partners in its roster, including apparel manufacturer Gamers Apparel, peripherals company Logitech G, and Italian sportswear brand Kappa.

XPG is no stranger to the esports industry. In 2018, it partnered with Taiwanese organisation Flash Wolves and, most recently, the hardware brand became the official peripherals partner of the ESL Community Clash VALORANT tournament.

Mark Weller, Chief Gaming Officer at Vexed Gaming, commented on the extension in a release: “The extended confidence XPG has put into Vexed Gaming is a wonderful endorsement of the work we’ve delivered since our relationship began. Our focus on our partners’ objectives coupled with our creative ideas, ensures that we create solid market engagement whilst driving our partners’ businesses forward.”

Esports Insider says: Considering the current global situation, it’s great to see an organisation maintain support from its partner – especially in the UK, where the industry isn’t as established as in other nations and regions. With many offline events still on hold, it will be interesting to see how the two parties collaborate moving forward.
