Telecommunications giant Orange and Jordanian organisation FATE Esports have officially unveiled a new esports training facility based in Amman, Jordan.
The Orange Gaming Hub, located at the Orange Digital Village, is a new ten-player facility fitted with ‘top of the line’ equipment to help nurture and scout esports talent in the country.

As a result of the strategic partnership between the two entities, FATE players will have full access to the facility, with the organisation hosting their international players in Jordan next year for training, practice and activations with local gamers.
Additionally, Orange will be utilising the space for the semis/finals of their events, whilst also inviting influencers, streamers, and Jordanian gamers to create ‘special activations’ from the training facility.
FATE has accredited the successful unveiling of its new 65 square metre facility to Orange’s accelerator programme ‘BIG by Orange’.
Mohammad Majali, CEO and founder of FATE Esports, commented on the partnership: “The Orange Gaming Hub will be the heart of FATE’s operation in the region and will further the Orange and FATE initiative to create a consistent and healthy gaming ecosystem for professionals and aspiring gamers.
“An environment where gaming is taken seriously and where Jordanian gaming athletes grow and reinforce their names and Jordan’s name as a gaming capital in the region. Of course, the gaming hub will be home to all of FATE’s players around the world to come to practice and interact with Jordanian gaming youth. None of this would have been possible without BIG by Orange, who have truly carried FATE throughout the past two years.”

It has also been revealed that HyperX will be the peripheral sponsor for the Orange Gaming Hub. As such, the brand has supplied all of the training facility’s mice, keyboards, headsets, mousepads and streaming mics.
Orange Jordan cited that one of the purposes of the space is to help professionalise the region’s esports ecosystem by why of facilitating more of an organised and professional esports structure, as a result of rising interest from the country’s youth.
In addition to the Gaming Hub, Orange and FATE have also partnered to create five online esports events, three of which have already taken place with the other two due to be hosted next year. Moreover, the duo will organise offline activations, in accordance with COVID-19 guidelines, and provide an estimated 125 hours of exclusive video and live streaming content.
The content is expected to feature FATE players, influencers and talent across a variety of titles including PUBG Mobile, Tekken 7, CS:GO, Dota 2, FIFA, and Rocket League among others.
Both Orange and FATE were apart of this year’s ESI Brand Showcase at ESI Digital Summer, in which Majali and Nizar Abu Karaki, Orange’s Direct Marketing & Sponsorship Manager for Jordan, discussed their developing partnership.
Esports Insider says: FATE’s strategic partnership with Orange to launch a training facility will undoubtedly help strengthen Jordan’s esports scene. Not only will FATE be able to develop their own current players, but the organisation will be able to scout local talent for the future too. Moreover, having major names such as Orange and HyperX helping support this project will also provide a huge boost to the country’s wider esports development.
