This is the Canadian organisation’s first all-encompassing sponsorship agreement. As such, EPOS’ logo will be present on all team kits, alongside social media and digital content. Moreover, the audio brand will be featured throughout OverActive’s player and influencer streams, live event weekends, and activations.

Chris Overholt, the President and CEO of OverActive Media, commented: “Landing our first worldwide partnership with a global brand is yet another milestone for our organisation as we continue to grow our international influence in the esports industry.

“We know that an excellent and dynamic audio experience makes all the difference in gaming and in competition, and we are thrilled to be teaming up with a premium partner like EPOS.”

According to the release, the audio company’s products will be integrated into OverActive’s headquarters in Toronto, as well as the organisation’s team facilities in Berlin and Madrid. EPOS will also be featured in OverActive’s strategic retail opportunities as part of the multi-year deal.

In 2020, EPOS firmly established itself in the esports market by partnering with a variety of esports entities across multiple titles. The company secured sponsorship agreements with the likes of Cloud 9, SK Gaming and BLAST Premier.

Esports Insider says: EPOS looks to continue the momentum it had in 2020 by securing a multi-ranged partnership with OverActive media. The deal will spread EPOS’ consumer reach across multiple titles, meanwhile, the Canadian organisation has secured yet another reputable partner to its commercial portfolio.
