North American esports organisation Pittsburgh Knights has announced a partnership with online digital gaming shop Boost Gaming.
The newly launched platform has become a ‘champion partner’ of Pittsburgh Knights, which sees Boost Gaming collaborate with the organisation for activations across all its esports teams, influencers, and Knights Arena tournaments.

According to the release, Boost Gaming, which is offered by global payments provider Blackhawk Network, looks to focus on ‘improving the gamer experience’. As such, Boost Gaming partners with leading streamers, content creators and esports athletes to support their growth within its partner referral model.
Boost Gaming’s ‘power-ups’ come directly from the gaming brands themselves and are available on phone, tablet, computer and console.
Matt Roche, Director of Business Development at Pittsburgh Knights commented: “The knights are looking forward to working with a company whose foundation and focus align with theirs – a love of gaming and the community around it.
“Boost Gaming and the Knights share this goal of serving and supporting the gaming community. We’re both working to elevate the gaming experience together and we’re glad they’ll be such a major part of Knights Arena and our community esports events.”

Boost Gaming has already previously sponsored the Knights’ Wingman Cup, a Rocket League event held last month, and will continue to sponsor virtual events throughout the coming year.
Scott Aird, Director of Business Development at Blackhawk Network added: “Our partnership with the Pittsburgh Knights organisation represents a major commitment for the Boost Gaming brand to continue to support the growth of esports and content creators.
“The global gaming market is exploding, and the opportunity to help elevate the competitors and content creators is built into the core passion of our entire team.”
Esports Insider says: Boost Gaming is a newly launched platform tailored towards the esports and gaming industry, so an official partnership with a fan-focused esports organisation such as the Knights, makes a lot of sense.
