HOUSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–GoCo.io, a leading provider of software solutions for HR, today announced that it will host its first-ever Hackathon for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion on May 6th and 7th, 2021.
In keeping with GoCo’s mission of empowering HR professionals, GoCo’s entire team is invited to work together over 36 hours to build solutions aimed at promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion for small businesses.
“Building technology to help HR make a difference in the workplace is what we’re all about at GoCo,” said Allie Collins, Head of GoCo’s DEI Task Force. “HR professionals are being called upon to make profound and meaningful changes to combat racism and inequities. We’re hosting this event because our whole team is passionate about creating apps and resources to facilitate that change.”
Hackathon teams are comprised of GoCo employees from every department, including marketing, sales, business, client success, product and engineering. Submissions will be judged on creativity, collaboration, execution, and community impact.
