Personalities and influencers from both OpTic Gaming and FaZe Clan will additionally be featured in multiple content pieces released in the coming weeks.
OpTic Gaming Owner & CEO Hector ‘HECZ’ Rodriguez commented on the collaboration in a release: “The beauty of competition is that it drives innovation, and although OpTic was the first of its kind, OpTic didn’t define itself until the FaZe Snipers came to play.
“Without FaZe and the fresh new look they brought to the fast-growing esports and gaming entertainment landscape, OpTic and gaming culture wouldn’t be where it is today, for it was FaZe and their innovations that helped gamers transcend gaming.”

FaZe Clan Co-owner Thomas ‘Temperrr’ Oliveira added: “To say we owe a lot to Hector and OpTic is an understatement. We created something out of nothing and we wouldn’t be here without their blueprint. It’s been mind blowing to watch both brands grow into something that can never be recreated and revolutionize the space together.”
After selling his majority share in OpTic Gaming to Immortals Gaming Club in 2017, HECZ has since reacquired the beloved brand which he took the reins of as an owner more than a decade ago in 2007.
Esports Insider says: This is a rockstar collaboration between two distinguished, heavyweight brands in the esports space. The pair of teams both have decades of culture, fandom, and exciting rivalries between them that should power the sale of this limited-edition capsule.
