ONE Esports partners with FWD, Marriott Bonvoy and McDonald’s Philippines

ONE Esports, the esports venture of sports media company ONE Championship, has announced multiple partnerships with insurance company FWD, Marriott International’s travel programme Marriott Bonvoy and McDonald’s Philippines.

According to the release, the brands will collaborate with ONE Esports in an attempt to boost the esports ecosystem in SEA.

According to the release, FWD will sponsor this year’s Mobile Legends Professional League Invitational in Indonesia. ONE Esports will also feature FWD on its website as well as create custom content for the brand’s flagship app, FWD Moments.

We’re excited to celebrate living with athletes, teams and fans across the region with stories, behind the scenes footage and curated content.”

Marriott Bonvoy has teamed up with ONE Esports to expand its reach to fans in Singapore and Malaysia via local Mobile Legends: Bang Bang community tournaments. Moreover, the two entities plan to launch an esports talk show together in 2022.

McDonald’s Philippines will provide food and services to the esports community at the Mobile Legends Professional League Invitational. Specifically, McDonald’s aims to boost brand exposure and gaming community involvement through the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament.

Earlier this month, ONE Esports also joined forces with online food delivery platform foodpanda to create a documentary about the ONE Esports Dota 2 Singapore Major that was held in March.

Esports Insider says: ONE Esports continuously grows its roster of partners with global brands, which will help the organisation expand its local and international reach. On the other hand, FWD, Marriott Bonvoy and McDonald’s Philippines are all strong brands that look to take advantage of the evolving esports ecosystem in SEA. It will be interesting to see how ONE Esports’ activations with each company will pan out in the next season.
