Esports tournament organiser ESL Gaming has announced the appointment of Qayser Sachdev as its Director of Team Relations.
Sachdev will collaborate with esports teams that are part of ESL’s tournaments. Moreover, he will be tasked with working with teams involved in the ESL Pro League.

Prior to joining ESL Gaming, Sachdev worked as the Head of Membership Engagement for the International Olympic Committee. During his time at the Olympic Committee, Sachdev worked on four editions of the Paralympic Games and played a key role in the introduction of the first-ever Refugee Paralympic team.
Qayser Sachdev, the new Director of Team Relations for ESL Gaming, added: “It’s incredibly exciting for me to be able to bridge my professional experience within the Paralympic and Olympic movements together with my lifelong passion for gaming, here at ESL Gaming.

The new role coincides with the growth of the ESL Pro League, a CS:GO competition that is set to feature 15 member teams in 2022. Teams that are a part of the Louvre Agreement have guaranteed places in the league.
ESL Gaming noted that Sachdev will be tasked with making the Pro League into the ‘best possible product’.
