In addition, Rooter will have its logo featured across OR Esports merchandise alongside the organisation’s social platforms.
Piyush Jumar, Founder and CEO of Rooter, spoke on the deal: “OR Esports has already taken the Indian BGMI space by storm with their fiercely talented, playfully unpredictable crew of content creators, and living legends of Esports. Teaming up with them will help us build a fun, massive, and competitive community of streamers and influencers on our platform.
The deal marks the organisation’s second partnership of 2022. In January, it secured a deal with fast-food franchise KFC India that saw its BGMI roster become a ‘winner winner chicken dinner’ sponsor.
Founded in 2019 by Pole To Win International (PTW), OR Esports is the only Indian roster to secure a top-three result at the PUBG Mobile Global Championship. Most recently, the team finished seventh in the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series, taking home $1,343 (GBP~1002.99) in prize money.

“This partnership will provide Rooter a perfect platform to engage its existing professional gamers and streamer community with our team members and achieve common milestones together.”
Esports Insider says: OR Esports is continuing to consolidate its position as a top organisation in India, adding another partner to its ever-expanding roster. Joining forces with one of the largest streaming platform in the region is a surefire way to expand its reach.
