Jordanian esports organisation FATE Esports has secured a two-year partnership with esports tournament platform FACEIT.
The collaboration looks to reinforce the esports ecosystem in the MENA region and will initially focus on the CS:GO scene. As such, the companies will launch a FATE ‘Levant and North Africa’ CS:GO Hub on the FACEIT platform.

Moreover, the organisation will also create the ‘FATE Esports Clan’ on FACEIT for its fans, though details regarding the FATE Esports Clan have not been revealed.
Mohammad Majali, FATE Founder and CEO, commented: “Our focus has always been to strengthen and accelerate the growth of esports in the region. Our relationship with FACEIT comes full circle in light of this partnership as the platform has played an integral role in building FATE players throughout the years.
“We look forward to this new venture and bringing our fans and supporters together with FACEIT.”
Despite the partnership being CS:GO focused, the announcement does not rule out possible collaborations with other game titles in the future.
2022 has been a busy year for FACEIT with the company being acquired by Saudi Arabian government-backed Savvy Gaming Group and merging with ESL Gaming. In addition, the firm launched its own esports advertising platform.

Cem Mollaoğlu, FACEIT Partnerships Manager, added: “As FACEIT grows, we aim to keep building new ways that esports organisations can utilise our tools to engage with their fans more effectively and scout new talent directly from their community while providing a safe and fair environment. Our partnership with FATE is another example of this mission.”
Esports Insider says: Creating greater esports opportunities for players is always positive, particularly in less-represented esports regions such as MENA. The initial launch into CS:GO makes sense for the region and it could also bolster FATE Esports competitively if talent is found within its new hub section. There are little to no details as to what the Esports Clan will entail, however, creating more fan engagement opportunities is always a wise decision.
