Misfits Gaming Group partners with Baptist Health

Multi-regional esports organisation Misfits Gaming Group (MGG) has secured a partnership with not-for-profit healthcare organisation Baptist Health South Florida.

As a result of the deal, Baptist Health will gain naming rights for a new exercise and wellness area within the organisation’s headquarters located in Boca Raton, Florida.

In addition, the two parties will collaborate on a range of content aimed at promoting the importance of physical and mental health. Baptist Health has become the exclusive healthcare and wellness partner of the organisation.

Justin Stefanovic, Senior Vice President of Partnerships at MGG, spoke on the deal: “The physical and mental wellbeing of our players is incredibly important to us, and something we’ve been heavily investing in more and more each year.

“Baptist Health is the perfect partner for us to level up our physical wellness efforts. We’re excited to have trained professionals working with our players to create tailored programs aimed to help them prepare for everything from long training sessions to big tournaments.”

The deal marks Baptist Health’s first foray into esports. The company joins the likes of peripherals brand HyperX, marketing agency SPORTFIVE and Italian sports apparel company ellesse as partners of Misfits Gaming Group.
