Esports live-odds provider Oddin.gg has announced a partnership with the Centre of Betting Vietnam (CBV).
As a result of the deal, Oddin.gg will provide its iFrame betting solution to CBV. According to the release, CBV claims to be strategically positioned to capitalise on the rise of esports betting in Southeast Asia by putting experienced gambling and iGaming teams in the region under one roof.

Based in Saigon, CBV is reportedly the first and only legal holder of an esports gambling licence granted by the local authorities in Vietnam.
Bang Dang, Spokesperson for CBV, commented: “Selecting the best and most reliable solution on the market was crucial for our aim to build the market from the ground up. Out of all the providers we have reviewed, Oddin.gg stood out with their comprehensive end-to-end iFrame solution that was fast to implement and provides us with the level of control we were looking for.
“At the same time, we can fully rely on Oddin.gg’s expertise and their guidance in the esports betting waters that are new to us. Given their leading uptime and number of live markets, we are certain we offer our bettors the best esports betting experience there is.”
Earlier this month, Oddin.gg also secured a partnership with the Multi-channel live betting services supplier Sports Information Services (SIS). As a result, SIS expanded its Competitive Gaming esports betting product with the launch of 24/7 CS:GO events.

Marek Suchar, Managing Director and Co-Founder of Oddin.gg, said: “We at Oddin.gg have reached another milestone! Esports in South East Asia has been mainstream for quite some time, where the status of esports pros is comparable to the status of other athletes. Yet, the legal environment for betting has been challenging, leaving opportunities for unregulated space to flourish.
“Through the partnership with CBV, we aspire to bring to Vietnam highly engaging esports betting alternatives that will be regulatory-compliant and guarantee a high level of security for bettors.”
Esports Insider says: Following its expansion to the LATAM market, Oddin.gg continues to bolster its esports betting solutions in Asia, quickly tapping the opportunity as SEA countries start to open to esports gambling. For the esports sector in Vietnam, this is a big step forward, so it will be interesting to see how the two entities tackle the task of building an esports betting market in the country.
