According to Tribe Gaming, each professional player will ‘take students by their hand’ and aim to provide insights into the mobile game that the pro players is familiar with. The videos will explore different aspects of the game, such as base building or attacking strategies and mechanics.

The Tribe Gaming players will host a number of video tutorials and classes, ranging from one to several hours in length. The company announced that more than 10 episodes of the Clash of Clans masterclass have been produced as of now.

GamerzClass said it has plans to explore mobile gaming more deeply. This partnership with Tribe Gaming is its first foray into mobile esports.

Victor Folmann, CEO & Founder of GamerzClass, said: “After an overwhelmingly amount of positive feedback we received for our masterclasses in our other games, going into mobile and specifically into complex, strategic and beautiful games such as Clash of Clans felt like a no-brainer.”

The videos will be available on the GamerzClass platform, along with gaming courses in other games such as Dota 2, FIFA, CS:GO, League of Legends and Rocket League.

GamerzClass previously partnered with esports organisation Fnatic in 2020 to provide educational courses. It closed a $2.5m (~GBP1.79m) seed round led by VC fund byFounders last year.

Esports Insider says: Tribe Gaming is one of the most established mobile esports organisations in the world, so having Tribe players teach a class on their main game can provide a lot of value. This partnership also shows that Gamerzclass is serious about its move towards mobile gaming classes.
