LAS VEGAS, April 9, 2015 – NAB 2015 (Booth SL16015).  At NAB 2015 axle Video premieres an expanded product range with new capabilities and new solution partnerships that extend both the workflow and the appeal of their unique “radically simple” approach to media management.  axle Video addresses an exploding need across a broad range of customers to improve the way they create, share, and store their digital video content, with media management solutions that are easy to install, use, and afford.  axle’s new software will be demonstrated and can be seen at the company’s own booth, SL16015 (back of South Lower hall), as well as at 8 partners including Dynamic Drive Pool, SL2725 (front of South Lower hall).

axle Edit – workgroup-connected rough cut editing for iPad and iPhone:  axle Edit is designed for mobile journalists as well as media producers/assistants who need a quick and convenient way to create rough cut sequences from their iPhones or iPads.  Featuring touch-based subclip selection and sequence assembly on a timeline, local or server-based media can be intuitively edited.  Media can be played back in low resolution, then rendered in high-res formats on the axle server.  axle Edit is ideal for producer/editor (“preditor”) workflows where media is captured on mobile devices, then integrated with other media on main storage.

New Video.  A new, minute-long promotional video, shot at a game of the CWHL champion Boston Blades highlights axle Edit’s capabilities for field news gathering and mobile editing.  The new video can be seen at: https://youtu.be/pEr6q49BLLQ
