On September 27, not only will the Golden Foodie Awards honor the top chefs, bartenders, food and drink in Orange County but the red carpet soiree will also unveil decadent food and drinks for guests to indulge in. From sugary concoctions to bubbly libations, the awards show will provide an unprecedented culinary experience.
The evening will start on the red carpet. As guests check in they will enjoy, handcrafted cocktails from Ketel One Vodka, A pour over bar from Kean Coffee, VOSS Artesian Water Bar, Celebrity Cruise Wine Bar featuring Coppola Wines, Roca Patron Bar that will feature the “Art of Patrón Virtual Reality Experience” through immersive 360-degree Oculus technology.

Part 2: As guests head into the ballroom for the awards ceremony that will be hosted by Food Network personality, Simon Majumdar, guests will be pleasantly surprised to see the ballroom tables overflowing with decadence.

The Fairmont Newport Beach Pastry Chef, Jeffry Kahle has created the “Golden Goo Goo Peanut BUTTAH” A decadent and rich peanut and chocolate confection with layers of chocolate brownie, peanut butter milk chocolate ganache, and a roasted peanut and honey caramel. All dipped in 70% chocolate and touched with gold.
Vicky Hsu and Rachel Klemek of Blackmarket Bakery have created the “Golden Eclipse Cake” Layers of Vanilla Sponge Cake and Chocolate Cake, both drizzled with Orange Bourbon Simple Syrup, enclosing a Passion-Orange Diplomat Cream, topped with Dark Chocolate Ganache and Gold Decor.
Chef Deb Sims of Maro Wood Grill will serve her Golden Foodie Award winning Banana Bread Pudding.
Villa Roma will serve Chocolate covered strawberries and Alfajores.
Valenza Chocolatier will serve their Bonbons of Gold. This decadent treat is an adult update of the peanut butter cup candies we all fought over in our Halloween sacks. Pushing the marriage of chocolate and peanut butter to new heights, this exclusive bonbon of the GOLDEN FOODIE AWARDS begins with a creamy ganache pairing rich 41% milk chocolate with 100% organic peanut butter.
B. Toffee will be serving delectable handcrafted toffee confections. The provocative manipulation of savory butters, fine domestic sugars, premium Guittard and Callebaut chocolates topped and superior quality pecan nuts.
Part 3: Once the awards ceremony is over guest will enjoy an after party under the stars!
