Accelerated Media Technologies (AMT) Inc. is introducing ENGenesis

, a bi-directional 2/7GHz BAS band system, at this year’s NAB show (booth OE1309). Based on industry standard Long Term Evolution (LTE) technology, ENGenesis supports two-way communications between broadcast trucks and television stations with unprecedented efficiency and functionality.

“ENGenesis sets new benchmarks in remote connectivity for video and IP transmission,” said Dudley C. Freeman, VP of Business Development, Accelerated Media Technologies. “It enables broadcasters to get the edge that will propel their production to higher levels of speed and quality.”

Engineered with innovative IP architecture, AMT’s ENGenesis extends high-bandwidth IP connectivity out to broadcast trucks to carry A/V streams, VoIP and Internet traffic. A single high-capacity radio channel supports simultaneous bi-directional data communication. LTE Dynamic Bandwidth Allocation provides improved support for multiple mobile units.

With 16dB more front end gain than DVB-T systems, ENGenesis delivers ranges >45 miles with simple panel antennas. Exceptional Quality of Service (QoS) is built into ENGenesis, allowing operators to set user and application data priorities to control traffic by mobile unit, by application within a mobile unit, or both.

ENGenesis has 5 patents pending. See it live at NAB in booth OE1309.
