121GameOn is allowing its users to become co-owners

Oslo-based technology company 121GameOn has launched a crowdfunding campaign that allows the users of its online esports platform to also become co-owners.

There’s no denying that there are a collection of online competition platforms dedicated to esports, but each seems to have its own significant focus and niche. For 121GameOn? That’s providing a fair and transparent arena for esport amateurs across borders with its fair ping optimisation algorithm. It also allows each individual to determine their own stake when playing.

121GameOn’s crowdfunding campaign is targeting EUR500,000 (GBP424,478.58), almost EUR400,000 (GBP339,582.86) has been committed and is pending so far with just under two weeks left to go. After seeing significant growth since its launch earlier this year, the company will use the raised funds to continue the growth of its user base and to develop new tournament systems that accommodate more titles.

121GameOn was designed with fairness in mind, providing opportunities for players of all levels to compete with transparency. The campaign hopes to bring in future users and ambassadors for the platform while bridging the gap – which is only getting wider – between the seed rounds and venture capitalists that currently occupy the industry.

The platform allows players to progress through an equitable system that allows them, if they’re worthy, to rise through the ranks and make a name for themselves along the way. Operating in real money with genuine in and out payments, 121GameOn has separated itself from a lot of its competition.

Having held over 12,000 tournaments across just Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds since March, it’s clear that the company is dedicated to supplying the opportunities that players need. Users can also set up their own automated tournaments where all of the relevant statistics and progression information for the competition is readily available.

Considering the campaign ends in the new year, there isn’t long left to get involved with 121GameOn. Check out its campaign page here.
