European organisation Team Atlantis has established a partnership with Japanese audio hardware manufacturer Audio-Technica.
With this deal, Audio-Technica will become the official provider of headsets and microphones for the organisation.

The organisation, most well known for its top-performing Fortnite lineup, was founded in 2018 and is headquartered in Vilnius, Lithuania. A release states its latest partnership is a result of the organisation’s “continued growth and interactive fan base,” which has allowed Team Atlantis to attract strategic partners.
Rebecca Ward, Brand Marketing Manager for Audio-Technica, commented in a release: “Team Atlantis is the first ever esports team we’ve partnered with globally and we’re very excited to be working with one of the best teams in Europe. We’ve installed over 50 years of Japanese audio expertise in to our gaming headsets and streaming microphones and we are working closely with Team Atlantis to ensure our equipment helps heighten their game. We also want to reward Team Atlantis’ fans and followers, so we’re running exclusive discounts and giveaways to enable them to enjoy the same equipment as their favourite players.”

Since 1962 when the company was founded, Audio-Technica has been creating audio equipment for both home and professional use. Despite being out of the competitive conversation for some time, the partnership at hand is not Audio-Technica’s first. In October 2018, the hardware provider became the exclusive hardware provider of the University of Akron’s esports program.
