(NASDAQ: EVBG), the global leader in critical event management (CEM), today announced a charitable collaboration beginning with support of the CDC Foundation’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The CDC Foundation, which is an independent nonprofit, helps the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention do more, faster by forging partnerships between CDC and others to fight threats to health and safety. Similarly, Everbridge’s mission to keep people safe and organizations running calls for immediate and urgent focus in mitigating the threats from the COVID-19 pandemic to people, operations, and supply chains. Together, the CDC Foundation and Everbridge will collaborate in a number of ways with an initial focus on raising awareness about, and financial support for, the CDC Foundation’s new campaign “All of Us: Combat Coronavirus.” Leading off the financial contributions is Blue Trident, a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation led by Jaime (Everbridge Executive Chairman) and Pamela Ellertson. Blue Trident will match Everbridge employee contributions on a dollar-for-dollar basis up to $100,000 building on an Everbridge gift of $50,000 for a combined total target of $250,000.
