Spanish organisation Movistar Riders has announced an expansion of its partnership with OMEN, the gaming brand of computer manufacturer HP.
The deal sees OMEN become an official sponsor of Movistar’s esports team, with the brand’s logo set to feature on the shoulders of its jersey going forward.

As part of the agreement, OMEN, which was already a partner of the team, has granted Movistar players access to its entire catalogue of peripherals. The expanded deal will also see OMEN have a presence in all broadcasts carried out by Movistar Riders on Twitch, both in its matches and in special events.
Catalina Roa, Marketing Director at HP, commented in a release: “We are at a key moment for the electronic sports industry. The 148 million frequent viewers and the nearly 200 million occasional viewers, show that we are facing a new socio-economic phenomenon, which does not stop growing with more and more competitions and events focused on this industry both inside and outside our borders.”
