The Oceanic Pro League (OPL), Riot Games’ premier League of Legends competition for the Oceanic region, has announced Neosurf as an official partner.
Neosurf, an internet payment company, has been named as presenting partner of the OPL Finals Series, with giveaways organised for the event’s fans throughout the playoffs and grand final.

The partnership will see OPL give away in-game cosmetics for every game played in the playoffs on April 17-18th, as well as for the grand final on April 24th.
An announcement on the Oceanic League of Legends website stated: “We’d like to extend a warm welcome to leading payment provider, Neosurf as an Official Partner of the OPL, and Presenting Partner of the OPL Finals Series! The partnership will result in some awesome new content and experiences for OPL viewers, tune in to the Playoffs this weekend for a little taste of what’s to come.”

This is far from Neosurf’s first esports engagement. The company, which launched its first products in 2004, has partnered with both the UK’s Excel Esports and Portugal’s K1ck eSports Club in recent months. Its work with Excel saw the launch of the Neosurf Cup, an exhibition match between Excel and Misfits Gaming that took place at Twickenham in January.
Neosurf has also stepped up its activity specifically in Australian esports, where it struck a multi-year deal with the EHPC last October. The deal saw it become the sponsor of four local teams: Dire Wolves, N8 Esports, Team Oracle, and Supa-Stellar.
Esports Insider says: Neosurf has really levelled up its game within the esports industry throughout the last few months. Its latest deal with Riot Games’ OPL will solidify its position at the forefront of the brands tied to League of Legends in the Oceanic region.
