Beasley Esports promotes Norris Howard to Head of Collegiate Content

Beasley Media Group subsidiary Beasley Esports has promoted Norris Howard to its Head of Collegiate Esports Content.

Howard served solely as a host and producer for CheckpointXP for 18 months.

In the role, Howard is responsible for ‘CheckpointXP On Campus,’ a podcast and video series that focuses on collegiate esports. The show is produced alongside students from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

He will also assume control over further collegiate content across all of the company’s platforms, ensuring the inclusion of more colleges in its programming to better promote their esports initiatives.

Leslie Fitzsimmons, Executive Director of Sales and Marketing for Beasley Esports, commented on the company’s collegiate focus: “We’ve seen Collegiate Esports grow at an accelerated pace since we launched CheckpointXP on Campus, the only show of its kind dedicated to covering Collegiate Esports for students and by students. Earlier this week, Beasley Media Group’s Houston Outlaws promoted Mike White to its Operations Director. He will oversee and ensure the company’s standards, procedures, and operations are met.
