The alliance has been made in an effort to help students across Canada, Mexico, and the United States find opportunities in esports.

Hitmarker will create two bespoke feeds of esports jobs – one with active paid internships and anther with long-term career opportunities – that will be integrated into NASEF’s website. It will also review resumes and cover letters of students, provide highlights on social media to promote students, allocate mentorship opportunities, and create educational content.
Richard Huggan, Managing Director of Hitmarker, stated in a release: “After three years of hard work to establish Hitmarker, we’re finally in a position to start giving back to the industry, and are therefore delighted to announce NASEF as our first not-for-profit partner. We’re admirers of NASEF and strong believers in their mission and we fully recognize the power of esports in education. As such, we look forward to working with them closely for the benefit of young people across North America.”

Additionally, Hitmarker will share proprietary data with NASEF to help with its content and have senior members of its team speak at the not-for-profit’s events.
Gerald Solomon, Founder of North American Scholastic Esports Federation, added: “Students engaged in NASEF programs learn and practice skills for careers within the high-growth esports ecosystem and related industries. This partnership with Hitmarker will help them see how many companies are hiring and for what jobs so they can prepare for their future. It will also give them a place to find internships so they can start on their career trajectory right now. What an exciting time for these high schoolers!”
Esports Insider says: Hitmarker will provide a lot of value to NASEF through this agreement, helping students from multiple angles in what’s definitely a multi-faceted alliance. It’s good to see Hitmarker continue to fight the good fight in esports, no matter how much it expands into the wider games industry.
