Do you long to get a Peloton, but can’t stomach the cost? If you’re willing to give up some smart features and a big screen, Amazon’s new $500 Prime Bike might be your answer. That price is really enticing, given that the Peloton’s Bike is currently $1,895 and the Bike Plus is $2,495. Even most Peloton alternatives are still around $1,000 and up. However, don’t expect the same level of features on this bike that you would get with a Peloton.

Amazon partnered with fitness company Echelon for the bike. Though it’s been dubbed the Prime Bike, its official name is EX-Prime Smart Connect Bike. It costs $499 and is available now, though it’s out of stock as of this writing. With purchase, you get a 30-day free trial of Echelon’s United Membership, which gives you access to live and on-demand fitness classes, plus training programs.

Like Peloton, with the Prime Bike you need to pay more for a membership service to get access to video classes on demand and make the most of your stationary bike experience. Unlike Peloton, the Prime Bike doesn’t have an attached screen, so you’ll need to provide that yourself with a phone or tablet.

Echelon announced the new bike from Amazon on Tuesday, and from the release, Amazon approached Echelon to create a budget spin bike. Though Amazon’s name is attached, there’s no indication that this bike ties in with any of Amazon’s Prime services, such as Prime video or the company’s famous digital assistant Alexa. Echelon previously created a similar bike at the same price for Walmart.

Amazon didn’t immediately respond to CNET’s request for comment.
